Every year, Medline, a manufacturer of pink latex gloves for the medical industry, sponsors a contest called the Pink Glove Dance where groups are invited to submit a video showing their members dancing with (you guessed it) pink gloves. The whole contest is set up to raise awareness for breast cancer. This year, Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center approached Trousers, Inc. to help them create their version of a Pink Glove Dance video.
The video was shot over three days at the hospital in Pomona, California featuring over 300 dancers from the hospital staff and cancer survivors who were treated at the hospital. It was an inspiring shoot that was enjoyed by all who participated.
The video was one of the most successful entries of all time racking up over 80,000 votes in the contest.
The announcement was made live on October 2, 2014 on Fox News’ Fox and Friends. See the news clip here.
As a result of the win a $15,000 donation was presented to the Susan G. Komen Los Angeles Foundation on behalf of Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center and Medline.
Trousers, Inc. congratulates all who were involved and who made this video possible.
